Full rules for seasonal games


The purpose of this document is to fully and clearly define the rules of the "Seasonal Games" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition").


The abbreviated wording of the rules on promotional material to visitors should be interpreted in accordance with this document. The organizer of the competition is SKRYTÉ PŘÍBĚHY z.s., with registered office at Střelecká 2708/25, Jablonec nad Nisou, ID No.: 061 18 003 (hereinafter referred to as "organizer" or "competition organizer").


The duration and location of the competition is determined for each game separately.

The "Journeys to Freedom" competition runs from May 1, 2023 to December 20, 2023. The competition "For the Treasures of the Ralsko Geopark" runs from June 1, 2023 to December 1, 2023. The competition "4 Adventures in Ještěd" runs from June 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023. The "Santini Code" competition runs from June 15, 2023 to November 30, 2023. All competitions take place on the territory of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "time" and "place" of the competition).


Competition participant

Only a natural person over 6 years of age who meets the conditions of the competition as described in the Competition Mechanics section (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant", "Competition Participant" or "Contestant") may become a participant. The competition excludes all persons in an employment or similar relationship with the organizer, as well as persons close to such persons within the meaning of Section 22(1) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended. Persons who do not meet the conditions for participation in the competition or who act in violation of the competition rules will not be entered into the competition. Even if such person fulfils some of the conditions for winning the prize, e.g., because of false information provided, he/she does not become a winner and is not entitled to the prize. In such a case, the prize will be forfeited to the competition organizer, who is entitled to decide on its further use. A participant will be disqualified if the organizer discovers or has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent or dishonest conduct has been committed by any participants or any other person who has assisted that participant to win a prize.

The prizes for each competition are listed below: "Journeys to Freedom": 1st prize, power bank and badges 2nd prize, tin mug, t-shirt and badge 3rd prize, t-shirt and tourist diary of Hidden Stories "Santini Code" "4 adventures on Ještěd" 1st and 2nd prize ski pass for winter skiing in the Ještěd ski resort 3rd prize power bank with the motive of Hidden Stories "For the Treasures of the Geopark" 1st prize a powebank with the Hidden Stories logo 2nd prize a Hidden Stories t-shirt 3rd prize a board game from Mindok. (hereinafter individually referred to as "prize" and collectively as "prizes")


Competition mechanics Participants enter the competition by: creating an account on the Hidden Stories App (the "SP App") by providing an email address, choosing a password and agreeing to these Competition Rules (the "Account"). Every natural person may only create one account. Violation of this condition is grounds for exclusion from the competition. passing and completing at least one Hidden Stories game track that is included in a special group of seasonal tracks (Journeys to Freedom, etc.) Contestants registered under multiple accounts will be eliminated from the game. Contestants who meet the conditions under a) and b) are entered into the prize draw. Players are entered into a prize draw for each completed track from the seasonal games group. Each completed track is one vote in the draw.

Winners and prize handover The winners will be determined by a draw which will take place within 14 days after the end of the competition period at the organizer’s headquarters. The winners will be notified of their prize by email within 14 working days of the date of the draw. A written record of the draw will be made. The prizes will be delivered to the winners of the prizes by the organizer’s chosen delivery agent or by any other method specified by the organizer. If the winner fails to provide or confirm the address for delivery of the prize after repeated requests, the prize will be forfeited to the competition organizer, who is entitled to decide on its further use.


Processing of personal data and expressions of a personal nature By participating in the competition (or by providing their personal data for the possibility of claiming the prize), the contestant acknowledges that the organizer will process the personal data provided by them for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with these rules, i.e. with their corresponding processing by the organizer, who is the administrator, to the extent of e-mail, GPS data of the places visited and times of visits.

The participant acknowledges that it is expected that if they become a winner, they will be asked to add additional personal information to their account: name, address, and age. The entrant or their legal representative will also be required to confirm that their consents to the processing of personal data obtained when collecting the prizes, i.e., the image and sound recording of the participant. This additional consent will be a condition for the award of the prize.

The personal data will be used for the purposes of the management and implementation of the competition, including the control of the competition and the delivery of prizes, and for the personal data of the winners for the marketing presentation of the organizer.

The legal title of the processing is the legitimate interest and consent of the winners – subjects - data. After the end of the competition period, only a limited amount of data will be processed for a limited period of time, which will depend on the activities that the contestant has engaged in. In the case of contestants who have completed one of the Hidden Stories game tracks, personal data will be retained for the duration of their involvement in the Hidden Stories game, which runs beyond the competition period. For other contestants, personal data will be processed for a period of one year after the end of the competition for the purpose of protecting the rights of the controller (for the purpose of any inspection by a supervisory authority, defending against claims, recovering debts).

The processing period is the duration of the competition and the fulfilment of the purpose of processing personal data. The method of processing is electronic, manual, and partially automated. The data provided by the contestants can only be processed by the organizer. The administrator/organizer does not use any processor in the running of the competition. Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union. In case of any doubts about the observance of rights, the contestant may contact the organizer at the following e-mail address: [email protected]. The contestant may submit objections, requests, complaints or other questions to the organizer at the above email address. The supervisory authority is the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, to which the contestant may file a complaint. Contestants as data subjects have the right to access, rectification or erasure of personal data, or restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. Contestants have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. The provision of personal data by the winner is a contractual requirement and is mandatory for the above purposes. Failure to provide personal data will result in the inability to deliver the prize. If the winner fails to provide the organizer with personal data for the purposes of delivery of the prize, the winner's entitlement to the prize will be forfeited.


Final provisions The organizer reserves the right to make final decisions on all matters relating to this competition. In the event of any doubt as to whether an participant has fulfilled the conditions of the competition, the participant must prove to the organizer that the individual conditions have been met. The organizer is also entitled to change, shorten, extend, cancel, or modify the rules of the competition at any time.

If changes are made to the terms and conditions of the competition, this will be done in writing and published on www.skrytepribehy.cz. The organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with a prize of a similar type and value and to change the terms and conditions of the prize in the event that the prize is not provided by its supplier so that it can be handed over to the winner in accordance with the competition rules.

The organizer of the competition is entitled to exclude any contestant without giving reasons in case of suspicion of unfair conduct or failure to comply with the conditions of the competition. It is not possible to exchange the prize or to pay cash in exchange for a material prize, nor is it possible to legally enforce participation in the competition or the prize. The winner cannot claim more than will be issued to them.

The organizer of the competition is not responsible for the prize or its functionality, does not provide any guarantee, the contestant is not entitled to claim the prize from the organizer in any way. Any claims for the prize must be made directly with the prize supplier or the official distributor of the prize.

The organizer does not provide technical support or consultancy services in connection with the competition. The organizer is not responsible for the inability to participate in the competition for technical or any other reasons. Any prizes that are not claimed or collected by the winners or failed to be distributed, allocated to a particular winner, or surrendered through no fault of the organizer shall be forfeited without compensation to the organizer. The organizer shall not be liable for any damages that the contestant may suffer as a result of their participation in the competition or the prize won. All contestants who fail to properly comply with the conditions of participation in the competition in accordance with these rules will be disqualified from the competition.

The organizer is not liable for loss, non-delivery, delay or damage to prizes sent by postal carriers or otherwise. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of these rules and the promotional materials relating to the competition, or any ambiguity regarding the interpretation of the rules or the promotional materials, the applicable provisions of these rules will prevail.
